Dermal Fillers

Designed to elevate your natural features and restore volume for an instantly refreshed appearance, Dermal Fillers will refresh, lift and add symmetry to your face.

At Timeless Treatments, we exclusively use hyaluronic acid fillers, which is a substance that occurs naturally in the body. A small amount of filler is injected beneath the surface of the skin to restore volume, smooth fine lines and provide a more youthful and natural appearance.

Dermal fillers can be used to lift, contour, and volumise your entire face, or we can target certain areas to provide you with a more balanced appearance. Book a complimentary consultation to discuss your needs and our team can advise you on the appropriate product and pricing to suit.

FAQs

  • Wrinkles are a natural part of aging, but that doesn’t mean we just have to accept them as permanent features on our faces. Anti-Wrinkle Injectables are a simple, non-surgical procedure that works to prevent the formation of static wrinkles (the wrinkles that are there, even when your face isn’t moving) by stopping the signal between the nerve and the muscle.

The decreased movement in the muscle places less stress on the skin, helping you to maintain a more youthful appearance. We inject a small amount of the anti-wrinkle solution into crucial muscle groups. By blocking the signals from the nerves to the muscles in that area, a wrinkle “softening” effect is achieved. This treatment is most effective when used as a preventative measure.

  • Wrinkle injection treatment usually takes 3 to 10 days to work. We recommend a follow-up appointment at 14 days to review the treatment, as by then, the full effect should be evident.

  • Treatment usually lasts between 3 to 4 months, with individual results varying. It could even last as long as 6 months. This is with the exception of therapeutic treatments which are expected to last much longer.

  • Anti-wrinkle injections were first approved for use in Australia in July 1999, and they are currently approved to treat various conditions.
Elsewhere, the product has been in use for over 30 years, so the effects and risks, both short and long-term, have been closely monitored.

  • Anti-wrinkle injections are not suitable for people with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, or with any neuromuscular disorder.
They are also not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
During your initial consultation, our team will assess your medical history and skin for suitability for treatment.

  • Most clients have compared the sensation of the face injections to a quick prick - a slight pinching feeling, but one that only lasts for a few seconds. However, everyone has different pain thresholds so your experience may differ.

  • No downtime is required for recovery with anti-wrinkle injections. In fact, you may return to work or normal activity immediately. You should be able to see the effects of your treatment in as little as 3 days. We recommend that you avoid massaging or applying pressure to the area that received injectables for a few days following your treatment. It is also recommended that only mineral makeup should be worn.

While you are unlikely to experience side effects following your treatments, potential side effects do include redness to the injection site, pain, firmness, swelling, lumps and bumps, bruising, itching, and discolouration. In most cases, these side effects are temporary and usually resolve on their own within a week. We do ask that if you experience any side effects contact our team so that we can follow up to ensure maximum safety and satisfaction.
